Ruby is an gallery - a brilliant stage each event. High-quality materials - vintage brick, formed concrete walls, polished hardwood and the defining Venitian plaster and creates a richness and dimension to Brash Hall. Together with a minimalist design, they deliver a platform upon which every event achieves its individuality.
Ruby also functions much like a theater by integrating essential audio, video, lighting and other critical components into your event. Integration of these key production elements is efficient with respect to cost, planning and implementation time.
Ruby allows most professional vendors to participate in events here which enables a freedom and fosters a uniqueness to every event.
Ruby is the smaller sister of Clementine Hall that is in the LOTTE District of Charlotte Avenue in Sylvan Park.
Ruby's grounds are arranged like a hub and spoke, with Brash Hall in the center and the Treehouse and Park Courtyards, Ruby Room, galley catering area, and front entry surrounding this main space. To appreciate how well these areas work together, you'll need to visit Ruby in person. Ruby's capacity depends upon many variables, but generally the maximum capacity of Brash Hall is 140 for a seated dinner, 120 for a seated dinner (with dance floor), and 200 for a ceremony/ concert. Maximum capacity at Ruby is 200 for a reception. For events greater than 200, please visit Clementine Hall.
Brash Hall's vaulted wood ceiling and plaster walls defines a space that is both historic yet contemporary, expansive yet intimate. The room is surrounded by doors and windows that access the courtyards and the park beyond and fill the space with natural light.
Elevated and enclosed by the surrounding trees, the Treehouse Courtyard greets guests when they enter. Views of Dragon Park and the facade and its towering 15-foot doors surround. Covered for sun and rain and walled in winter for year around use.
Well, because it's surrounded by the park on all sides. Lit in a perfectly dappled sort of way that draws guests outside. A frequent location for food stations, bars and food trucks. Accessible through four 12-foot mahogany doors. Buffered by maples and tall grasses.
Our dressing room/ green room, the Ruby Room opens to the Park Courtyard and the garden pathway which leads to the front entrance. Intimate and refined. Ensuite bathroom.
A stunningly modern entry it is, clad in rich red teak. Two seating alcoves store coats in the winter and are often decorated in a manner similar to a store window. Accesses four private bathrooms.
Clementine Hall, like Ruby, was designed by Dragon Park and has the same attention to architectural detail and building systems. Clementine is roughly twice the size and capacity of Ruby and is a historic brick design. Clementine is in the burgeoning LOTTE District within the Sylvan Park neighborhood and faces Richland Park. These are some recent images at Clementine.
